Now when I do a WINDOWS-> SHUTDOWN, all USB ports are powered down. H) save BIOS settings and reboot the computer. I did the following:ĭ) select the menu item to go to ADVANCED configuration mode.
I did the following to resolve the issue:Ī) I upgraded the BIOS on my P8Z77-VK LK to v1402 (March 21, 2014).ī) I noticed a new parameter appeared that was not there before, called "DEEP S4". I finally upgraded from Windows 8.0 to Windows 8.1 and the problem reappeared !!! I now had all USB ports powered on after doing a Windows-> Shutdown. I would do a Windows-> Shutdown and all the USB ports would power off. I did not update this post since I did not know what I did to resolve the issue! I was running Windows 8.0 with the v0908 of the motherboard BIOS.
